One of my most frequently asked questions is about whether the glamping spots I visit around Texas are dog-friendly! So, I teamed up with my friends at Hipcamp to showcase a few of my favorite pet-friendly glamping spots near Austin. And if you’re new to Hipcamp, you can sign up here for $10 off your first stay!
Before I became a travel blogger, I used credit card points to fund all of my travels. I signed up for pretty much every travel card there was, using the points to backpack Europe several times over and jaunt off to music festivals around the globe. I didn’t have the excess income to pay for all the flights I wanted, so points got me where I needed to go. I became a bit of an expert when it came to the travel credit card game, a self-proclaimed Points Queen. With the right card in hand, you can travel for free or at least highly discounted!
The brand new Radisson RED Portland Downtown only opened in November, so I’ve been one of the first bloggers to get to check it out. To book a stay, currently using it is only 37,500 Radisson Rewards points a night, which is a really good deal! So the total for a 3-night stay like my trip would only be 112,500 points! If you’re low on points, Radisson Rewards also often offers a Points + Cash option. Because of my Gold status with Radisson Rewards, I also received a free upgrade upon check-in to a beautiful and spacious corner room for the duration of my stay.
Hotwire has an exciting new deal launching today that will get you to Las Vegas on the cheap! Through their HotRates program, Hotwire is offering $50 5-star hotel nights in Vegas, good for dates between December 8-28, 2017 for up to two consecutive nights per booking.
Back in August, I spent 7 days on the road with Shamrocker Adventures exploring all over Ireland, including the Giant’s Causeway, Derry, Galway, Inis Mór, the Cliffs of Moher, Killarney, and Blarney Castle. The first day of the tour, we made our way up to the small town of Ballintoy, home of the famous Carrick-A-Rede. You’ve probably seen the rope bridge in photos before. The bridge forms a link between the land and the island of Carrickarede and is 20 meters long and 30 meters high above the Atlantic. It’s a photo opp you just can’t miss in Northern Ireland.
While in Scotland, I had the opportunity to experience Haggis Adventure’s 10-day Compass Buster tour around the Highlands and Islands. Departing and returning to Edinburgh, the trip visits such places including the Isles of Lewis and Harris, Isle of Skye, Orkney, Oban, Glencoe, Loch Ness, and the opportunity to do the Jacobite Steam Train aka the “Hogwart’s Express”.
