I recently had the opportunity to visit Santa Fe with Tourism Santa Fe. It was a lovely weekend trip where we learned all the best food spots, shopping, places to stay, and other fun activities to do in the city. From their famous Margarita Trail to Meow Wolf, we got to explore everything the city of Santa Fe had to offer. Here’s my full itinerary from the weekend.
During my amazing visit to Geneva, courtesy of the Geneva Tourism Board (see more about the full trip HERE), I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to spend five wonderful nights right on Lake Geneva at the lavish 5-star Hotel Beau Rivage.
Last November, I spent a week exploring New Zealand – not nearly enough time, if you ask me. While there, I used Queenstown for my base of explorations and was hosted for one night at the Hotel St Moritz, right in town. The Hotel St Moritz is part of the MGallery Collection by Sofitel (one of my favorite luxury hotel chains), so I knew I’d be getting impeccable service. The property overlooks Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables mountain range (you can really see why so many films are produced out here) and is a very convenient walking distance from most of the attractions in town.
The property is right on the beach (one it shares with several other hotels, including the La Concha Renaissance next door) and is only a quick drive away from Old San Juan. There are five pools on property along with sun decks and plenty of chaise lounges to sunbathe on. One of my favorite areas was the adult-only pool complete with hot tub and a mini private beach area enclosed by rocks and tide pools. By far though the pool I enjoyed the most was the small infinity pool off the edge of one of the sun decks. When we arrived the first night, we barely made it out in time to capture an amazing sunset over the infinity pool. While the pool is indeed small in size, the view more than makes up for it.
Any book lovers out there? I have the perfect hotel for you. Situated just blocks away from Grand Central Station and the New York Public Library, the Library Hotel in New York City is a luxury boutique hotel that is a haven for literature-loving travelers. Each floor and room is dedicated to the Dewey Decimal System. For example, floor 8 is Literature, with room 800.003 as Poetry. During my stay, I was in the Money room, or 300.005 in the system, and all the decor and books there fit the theme of money.
