Checking In: Hotel St Moritz (Queenstown, New Zealand)

Last November, I spent a week exploring New Zealand – not nearly enough time, if you ask me. While there, I used Queenstown for my base of explorations and was hosted for one night at the Hotel St Moritz, right in town. The Hotel St Moritz is part of the MGallery Collection by Sofitel (one of my favorite luxury hotel chains), so I knew I’d be getting impeccable service. The property overlooks Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables mountain range (you can really see why so many films are produced out here) and is a very convenient walking distance from most of the attractions in town.

Checking In: Condado Vanderbilt Hotel (San Juan, Puerto Rico)

The property is right on the beach (one it shares with several other hotels, including the La Concha Renaissance next door) and is only a quick drive away from Old San Juan. There are five pools on property along with sun decks and plenty of chaise lounges to sunbathe on. Any book lovers out there? I have the perfect hotel for you. Situated just blocks away from Grand Central Station and the New York Public Library, the Library Hotel in New York City is a luxury boutique hotel that is a haven for literature-loving travelers. During my stay, I was in the Money room, or 300.005 in the system, and all the decor and books there fit the theme of money.
