Your Weekend Getaway Guide to Summer In Snowmass, Colorado

Last month, I was invited to Snowmass, Colorado for the Jazz Aspen Snowmass music festival and to experience what Snowmass is like in the summertime. While Snowmass is a fantastic place to go skiing in the winter, it also has plenty of warm weather activities one can participate in – everything from biking to rafting to their Ice Age Discover Center. Checking In: Condado Vanderbilt Hotel (San Juan, Puerto Rico)

The property is right on the beach (one it shares with several other hotels, including the La Concha Renaissance next door) and is only a quick drive away from Old San Juan. There are five pools on property along with sun decks and plenty of chaise lounges to sunbathe on. One of my favorite areas was the adult-only pool complete with hot tub and a mini private beach area enclosed by rocks and tide pools. Any book lovers out there? I have the perfect hotel for you. Situated just blocks away from Grand Central Station and the New York Public Library, the Library Hotel in New York City is a luxury boutique hotel that is a haven for literature-loving travelers. Each floor and room is dedicated to the Dewey Decimal System. For example, floor 8 is Literature, with room 800.003 as Poetry. During my stay, I was in the Money room, or 300.005 in the system, and all the decor and books there fit the theme of money.
