This Midtown rooftop bar and restaurant is located on the roof of the Refinery Hotel and offers an amazing view of the Empire State Building. In summer, they open up the roof on the patio and bring out the fairy lights, making it all the more magical.
2. Spyglass at the Archer Hotel
Address: 47 W 38th St, New York, NY 10018
Just down the street from the Refinery Rooftop at the Archer Hotel is another amazing Midtown pick – Spyglass. It’s hard to get a better Empire State view than this!
3. The Skylark
Address: 200 W 39th St, New York, NY 10018
A premier cocktail lounge offering sweeping panoramic views of Midtown Manhattan from the 30th floor. You can grab your reservation here.
4. Pod 39 Rooftop
Address: 145 E 39th St, New York, NY 10016
Located on the Pod 39 Hotel rooftop, this bar is all about the string lights and brick archways. You’ll find this spot near the Chrysler Building in the Murray Hill neighborhood of Midtown Manhattan.
5. Upstairs at the Kimberly Hotel

Upstairs at the Kimberly Hotel is a great option all year around for 360 degree views of the Chrysler Building and Midtown with your cocktails! The retractable glass ceiling makes this rooftop bar a fantastic place to hang summer or winter.

Located across the street from Chelsea Market, the PH-D Lounge at Dream Downtown (now a Hyatt property) has amazing panoramic views of Manhattan, especially when they open up the patio in summer. If you’re looking for a rooftop to party at, this one turns into a club on weekend nights.

This indoor/outdoor lounge located on the 14th floor of the Library Hotel is the perfect place to unwind in Midtown East and is a short walk from Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library. Even better, you can sip on literary-themed cocktails like the Tequila Mockingbird, The Gatsby, and Gone with the Gin here!

9. Bar 54 at Hyatt Centric Times Square

Right in Times Square you’ll find Bar 54 at the Hyatt Centric Times Square. As the name suggests, it’s on the 54th floor of the hotel, making it the highest open-air hotel rooftop bar in NYC! As you can see, you also get a fabulous view of the Chrysler Building from here.
