Any book lovers out there? I have the perfect hotel for you.
Situated just blocks away from Grand Central Station and the New York Public Library, the Library Hotel in New York City is a luxury boutique hotel that is a haven for literature-loving travelers. Each floor and room is dedicated to the Dewey Decimal System. For example, floor 8 is Literature, with room 800.003 as Poetry. During my stay, I was in the Money room, or 300.005 in the system, and all the decor and books there fit the theme of money.
One of the best parts of the hotel is the rooftop bar on the 14th floor called the Bookmarks Lounge. It features many literary inspired cocktails (like The Hemingway and Tequila Mockingbird) and a million dollar view of the city.
Thanks to the Library Hotel for hosting me on this media stay on behalf of Luxury World Traveler.
