Welcome to Nevis, a small island in the Caribbean and part of the region of the Atlantic Ocean known as the West Indies. Nevis is part of the country of Saint Kitts and Nevis, along with its sister island next door, St Kitts (which is where the big international flights come into). In Nevis, their tourism campaign slogan is “Nevis Naturally” and it’s easy to see why. This small slice of paradise is one of the most unspoiled places you’ll ever find, and that’s what makes the Four Seasons Resort Nevis so magical. Here, you’ll find the majestic Nevis Peak (a potentially active volcano) as a backdrop to the resort, Green Vervet monkeys roaming the grounds, and nearby hot springs to relax in. Nevis has a little bit of everything!

Food and Dining at the Four Seasons Nevis
The main restaurant at the resort is EsQuilina, which is where you’ll find the breakfast buffet in the mornings and fine dining at night. If you’re looking for a more unique dining experience, you can also look into booking the Chef’s Counter, which we did during our stay. We were served 8 courses, all beautifully plated and prepared right in front of us by the resort’s chef.
Other options open for lunch and dinner include Mango and On the Dune. Mango serves up Caribbean cuisine while you overlook views of St. Kitts over the ocean, while On the Dune is a beachfront restaurant focusing on a blend of American and Caribbean dishes. We only had the chance to eat at On the Dune during our trip, and if you stop in there for lunch, I recommend the lobster fries and asking for the grilled catch of the day.
The Pools and Beach at Four Seasons Nevis
On property, you’ll find Pinney’s Beach as well as 3 infinity-edge pools to enjoy. My favorite was the Limin’ Pool, a 3,300 sq ft infinity pool located near the lobby and EsQuilina. My favorite thing about this pool is the view you get looking backwards at Nevis Peak. Limin’ is also where you’ll find the poolside cabanas, which are great if you want something a little more than just a normal pool chair. Or, if you’re more into hanging by the beach, you can also rent beach huts, which come with more amenities like a hammock, mini fridge, and TV. They’re also super cute and photogenic, just sayin’! If you need help packing for the ultimate beach vacay, check out this guide on what to pack for a tropical beach vacation! But back to the pools, the other two pools are the adults-only Soca Pool and the family-friendly Calypso Pool.
Lastly, if you decide to stay in a villa on the Residences side of the resort, you’ll also have your own private plunge pool. Villas are a great option if you’re there with a family or larger group as they range from 2 to 7 bedrooms. There are 50 villas on property to choose from, and each has extra amenities such as a golf cart for use to get around the resort and full kitchen (pro-tip: you can order food in advance to pre-stock your kitchen if you’d like to make your own meals!).
The Spa at Four Seasons Nevis
You absolutely have to spend one of your afternoons at the resort enjoying their 12,000 sq ft signature Nevisian spa. The spa has several key features, including 11 treatment rooms (6 of which are private Nevisians huts that are ADORABLE), as well as hot and cold pools to enjoy before or after your treatment. It really feels like a jungle paradise. I got the Signature Nevisian Massage, which was a 65-minute treatment that included a foot soak and scrub along with a Caribbean Sea-inspired massage technique and oil blends inspired by the scents of the West Indies.
Getting There
The easiest way to visit Nevis is to fly into St. Kitts, which hosts the larger airport and international flights. From St. Kitts, the Four Seasons picked us up at the airport and drove us across the island to a dock, where we took a private speedboat for guests straight to the dock at Four Seasons Nevis. This door-to-door service makes it incredibly easy to get to the resort. If you’re coming from another island, like if you’re coming from the Four Seasons Anguilla, you can also take small propeller planes directly into Anguilla’s small airport. We actually took TransAnguilla between Nevis and Anguilla directly during our trip, which was only slightly over $100 per person for the scenic 30-minute flight between islands.
